Black fungus
Fungal infections can be from contaminated water or from soil that is contaminated. This infection can be treated and you should consult with your vet about a treatment for it. Depending on what type of fungal infection, damage to the skin may or may not be deep and in some cases, depending on the type, fungal disease can lead to death.
